Erin Watson

Guest Experience Specialist - Bowers School Farm

Erin has been a volunteer in the Bloomfield Hills Schools community since 2011 and first experienced Bowers Farm as a parent chaperone for her daughter’s 2nd grade class.  Since that day, it’s held a special place in her heart as she watched her children find such joy learning about the animals on the farm.

She holds a Master of Social Work from Wayne State University, with a focus on Community, Policy, and Leadership and has worked in a variety of fields including foster care, senior community housing, nonprofit management, and event planning.   She continues to be an active volunteer with Friends of the Johnson Nature Center and the BHS PTO Council.

Erin is a hobbyist gardener who strives to find balance between design and function with the goal to feed her family of 6 with easily accessible and nutritious fruits and veggies.

Her passion includes community engagement, ecological conservation, and finding wellness through the restorative power of understanding and connecting with our natural world.

She is excited at the opportunity to foster fun and meaningful experiences around healthy food systems in our community, as part of the Bowers team!
