FARM STORE

We strive to offer our community a chance to connect with farming through a variety of agricultural products. We find value in sourcing from both hyper local (within 100 miles of us) and local (within 400 miles of us) retail partners. We are proud to partner with retailers such as Mud Lake Farm, Tom & Herb, Library on Linwood, Hankaroo Readings, Alpine Crossing Farm, Wee Bee Jammin, Wilde Thyme, and others.

We know you’ll find something of interest when you stop in to visit us.

  • Farm fresh eggs (we sell out fast on these!)

  • Pasture raised beef, lamb & chicken

  • Pork sausage, maple breakfast patties, ham, and bacon

  • Regeneratively farmed fresh produce (selection varies during growing season)

  • Garden seedlings, using non-gmo organic seed

(please note we use regenerative farming practices in our gardens and are not certified organic. In many ways, it is superior to organic in that it focuses on soil health and uses natural inputs to produce nutritious harvests. What’s good for the soil, is good for your food, and good for you)

  • Locally produced items such as: jams, dips, honey, soups, maple syrup and teas

  • Bowers Farm apparel

  • herb infused sodas

  • Toys including plush farm animals

  • hyper local goat milk and garden based skincare products

  • Locally authored children’s books

KITCHEN

We have a counter service, farm to table scratch kitchen here at Bowers. Our aim is to deepen the agricultural experience by engaging all the senses, including taste. We use proteins and produce grown right here in our menu items and hope that in doing so, we inspire folks to connect to their local food systems and find meaning in knowing where their food comes from. All our menu items are made from scratch with care by Chef Kathy.

Our menu changes with the seasons and what is available coming out of the gardens and pastures. Some of the items you may see:

  • Brunch items

  • bakery items like donuts, heirloom sourdough breads (regular & GF), turnovers, muffins, and cookies

  • Beef sliders

  • Flatbread pizzas

  • Chicken Brats

  • Mac & Cheese

  • Garden slaw

  • Hoop House Salad

  • Sandwich wraps

  • Guernsey ice cream

  • Fresh squeezed lemonade

New local partners in our store:

Stacey Malasky

Stacey is a local artist who creates screen prints made from her own original drawings, inspired by nature. Each one is a little unique, because they are all hand pulled by her.  All her prints are printed on French Paper, a Michigan based family owned paper mill that creates lovely papers. Her tea towels are printed on 100% cotton towels that are also produced in Michigan by a small family owned business.

Seasonal Sundries

We are now carrying fragrance sachets in lavender, lemon verbena and eucalyptus.  These sachets are made small batch, slow dried, and hand harvested.  They are great for your drawers, car, or given as a gift. Grown hyper locally by a true plant enthusiast, who believes in the power of nature and the joy of gardening!

New Store item!:  St. Steve Cordials

Regeneratively grown on Mud Lake Farm in Michigan and handcrafted in small batches, St Steve’s Cordials farm crafted cordials are aromatic syrups made from plants.  We now offer in our store a wide variety of flavors that can be used in salad dressings, baking, sauces, cocktails, teas and more.
