What does adventure mean to you?

Thank you for sharing your amazing campers this week! Campers had opportunities all week to step out of their comfort zones as they explored this weeks driving question….”What does adventure mean to you”?

If we all could see the world through the eyes of a child, we would see the magic and adventure in everything! Here at Bowers during Outdoor adventure camp this week, campers were transformed by the adventures they went on, the people they met and they things they experienced. To name a few: Conquering their fears at the zipline and ropes course, taking their best shots at archery, learning shelter building techniques in the forest, cooking with friends over the camp fire. To me I hope campers look back and discover this week was the adventure they were looking for all along: to explore a new place and become apart of it, to discover the world with new eyes, and to explore a hidden trail that leads them to their own adventures!
